Slot Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:  Performs electronic circuitry as it pertains to the operation of electronic gaming equipment.  Uses test equipment schematics and flow charts as required to replace or repair p.c. boards and other electronic components as needed.  Complete knowledge of equipment on casino floor and can program repairs as needed to keep all games up on a shift as it pertains to mechanical aspects of the games, as well as electronic.  Able to apply federal, state, and local gaming regulations. Essential Job Functions:

  • Has basic understanding of electronic circuitry as it pertains to the operation of electronic gaming equipment.
  • Can use test equipment schematics, flow charts as required to replace or repair p.c. boards and other electronic components.
  • Knowledge of equipment on casino floor and can program repairs as needed to keep all games up on a shift.
  • Knowledge of company policy and procedure.
  • Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Marine and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise, as required of the crew of a Coast Guard certified vessel.
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience Required:  1-3 years as a slot technician.
  • Education Required:  High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of certified slot instruction school or equivalent experience.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required:  Basic understanding of electronic circuitry as it pertains to the operations of electronic gaming equipment (slot machines and video games); use of test equipment schematics and flow charts; complete knowledge of slot equipment.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:  Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
  • Other Specialized Requirements:  Must be physically able to handle and move slot machines.
